On Sept. 07, 2008 we welcomed Rev. Dan Hathaway and his wife Janie to our church as our new
pastor and wife. Pastor Dan and Jane come to us from the Hastings, MI church where Pastor Dan was
the associate pastor. Pastor has lead worship, worked with kids, taught Sunday School, and helped in
administration and preaching. He was also the chaplain of Pennock Hospital and Hospice. Janie works
for Hastings Mutual Insurance Company in Hastings and is Pastor Dan's right hand 'woman.'
On July 13, 2006, the former Fuller Avenue Church of the Nazarene became Northeast Community
Church of the Nazarene. Our prayer is that our ministry focus from this day forward will genuinely reflect
our new name. We desire to become a place where hope, help, healing, and restoration that can only
be found through Jesus Christ is not only preached, but also lived out each day.
